First, read the Instructions for Surveying a Cemetery and Submitting it to the Oregon Tombstone ProjectAfter you have read the instructions above, please register the cemetery if you have not already done so. That way we will not have two or more people surveying the same cemetery. To register a cemetery, please send an email to:

Give your name, email address, the cemetery name, the community and the county in which the cemetery is located. Please state in the subject line of the email "Cemetery Registration: County" replacing "County" with the actual county you are working in.

Be sure to include your name, the county, the cemetery name, when the survey was taken and directions to the cemetery
All tombstone photos MUST be readable, otherwise the photo is of no use. Please do NOT include photos of Unknown headstones as there is no useful information on these stones. If any photos are unreadable, they will be removed.
