Jorns, Kim Michael 3-19-1969 1-2-2006 b. Stafford ks Stafford co, d. Preston ks Pratt co, S/O Ben and Marie M. Baresel Jorns. In May of 1990, he graduated from Pratt High School. He was a resident of Preston most of his life. He lived at the Lifecare Center in Osawatomie, since 2004, then recently moved back to Preston. He belonged to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preston 4-H club and participated in Kansas Special Olympics. In 1987, he became an honorary associate of Beta Sigma Psi Lutheran Fraternity at Kansas State University. In 2000, he was inducted into the Kansas Special Olympics Hall of Fame. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Knop, Mildred F.
2-28-1900 1-31-2005 b. Valley Falls KS Jefferson co, d. Pratt ks Pratt co, D/O Wilbur J. and Laura E. (Hosler) Stewart. She was a homemaker. Mildred graduated from Preston High School in 1918. She taught school in Minneola and Zenith/Neola area. Mrs. Knop was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preston EHU, Carmi Club, PRMC Auxiliary and Natrona Ladies Aid. On April 30, 1922, she married Leo Knop at Meade, KS. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1983.
