On Feb. 2, 1936, she married Wesley Weishaar in Ness City. He died Jan. 9, 1960. She then married Ruben Crist on July 15, 1961, in Las Vegas. He died Aug. 30, 1993. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.

Floyd Sr. preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1988. To this union was born three daughters and two sons. The eldest daughter, LaVetta L. Shearer, died in August of 1969 at the age of 28; Timothy Gruver preceded her in death

Muench, Mary Monica    10-27-1917 10-2-2005     b. Wright ks Ford co, d. Scott City ks Scott co, D/O Roger and Minnie Wortman Norris. A resident of Scott City since 1942, moving from Council Grove, she was a homemaker and the owner and operator of Muench's Drapery. She belonged to St. Joseph Catholic Church; Altar Society; EHU; Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary; and Scott County Hospital Pink Ladies, all of Scott City. On Nov. 22, 1936, she married John J. Muench in Dodge City. He died Aug. 29, 1983. She was preceded in death by two sons, J.D. and Pat Muench.

He belonged to United Methodist Church and Scott County VIP Center, both at Scott City.On Jan. 20, 1944, he married Eileen Schmidt at Scott City. She died Nov. 10, 1990. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Taylor, Mildred F. 4-27-1914 6-22-2005 b. Shallow Water ks Scott Co, d. Scott City ks Scott co, D.O. of Lytle Jones and Floda Proudfoot Loux. A lifetime resident of Scott County. On Sept. 3, 1947, she married William Eugene Taylor at Ellsworth. He died Nov. 9, 1964. She was preceded in death by two husbands, a son, a brother, two sisters, a grandson and a great-grandson.
