Garden Township Cemetery, Section 4
Garden Township, Harvey County, Kansas
This cemetery is located in Section 4 of Garden Township,
Harvey County, Kansas. Take the Hesston Exit on I-135 and go west (you
will be on CR556 a/k/a Dutch a/k/a Lincoln). You will go through the town
of Hesston continuing west across Old Hwy 81 and on out of town. Several
miles out of town you will come to an intersection, this will be CR801 or
Halstead Road. Go north 1 mile on CR801 and then west 1 mile on the dirt
road and then 1/2 mile north again. The cemetery is located just off the
road on the west side and it has a white fence in front of it. Somebody is
doing a wonderful job of keeping this little cemetery up but the weather
is getting to the stones and a couple of them are broken and not very
legible. This cemetery was transcribed on March 1, 2003 by Carrie Hall,
410 Wedgewood Ct., Hesston, Kansas 67062. s/w=shared with (one stone)
