He was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Jr.

She lived most of her life in Meade and Fowler, working at the Meade telephone office and Argus Gas Co. On Aug. 21, 1939, she married Charles E. "Buss" Lett at Fowler. She was a member of United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Fowler United Methodist Women, Rebekah Lodge and Noble Grand Lodge, all of Fowler. She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Wesley, Ray and Elvis Ford; and two sisters, Fern Wolfe and Helen Cope.

McDowell, Irma V. 9-10-1918 9-20-2005 b. Randolph co MO, d. Meade ks Meade co, D/O Russell and Mabel S. Barnett James. A longtime Meade County resident, she was a farmer's wife, homemaker, and had worked for the Fowler Nursing Home. She belonged to Wesleyan Church, attended the Fowler Friends Church, Fowler, served as a Sunday school superintendent for many years and was a member of the Progressive EHU, having served as a past president and holding various other offices. On July 2, 1934, she married Fred B. McDowell in Pratt. He died March 11, 1981.

Spence, Allie 'Lorene' 11-4-1947 1-2-2006 b. chickasha ok Grady co, d. Meade co ks, D/O Allie and Jewell Fisk Spence died at Meade District Hospital Long Term Care Unit.
