Bandy, Paul L. 8-20-1919 7-22-2005 d. Canton ks McPherson co, Died at Shiloh Manor, Canton. S/O Floyd and Sophie Blackburn Bandy. He served in the United States Army in the European Theater during World War II. Paul was an area oil producer and a service and supply company owner. On June 29, 1946 he married Marjorie M. Heckard Coons at McPherson. He was a lifetime Canton resident. He attended the Canton Christian Church, was a life member of the Canton American Legion Post #192 and a charter life member of the VFW Post #2715, McPherson. He was also a member of the Kansas Independent Oil and Gas Association, Kansas Oil and Gas Museum Association of Great Bend and the Canton Chamber of Commerce. A son, Robert C. Bandy; brother, Willis "Bill" Bandy and sister, Phylis Gertrude Dayton preceded him in death.

Schwabauer, Corrine J. 11-1-1932 8-30-2005 b. Medicine Lodge ks Barber co, d. Canton Ks McPherson co, D/O John C. and Laura Bradney Holder. A Canton resident since 1980, moving from Lakewood, Colo., she was a retired health care worker. She was preceded in death by a son, Wray Trammell; a daughter, Pam Trammell; a stepson, Melvin Schwabauer; two brothers, Lester and Marvin Holder; and a sister Pat Holder Smith.
