9-6-1909 10-3-2004 b. Kirwin KS Phillips co, d. Wichita, Retired Bureau of Land Management, Personnel Director. She was 95 and formerly lived in Denver, Colorado. Her grandfather, Marcus Bogart, in 1877, homesteaded the farm where she was born.D/O Lee and Maud Winifred Bogart. Graduating from Kirwin High School, she attended Marymount College for 2 years, then left for Washington D.C. and had a position with the U.S. Agriculture Department. An opening in the Bureau of Land Management led to a move to Denver in 1945. She enjoyed Colorado but, sadly, ill health forced a move to Wichita, 5 years ago to be near family. She lived in Georgetown Village. Travel always attracted Vivian throughout her life, and after retirement she joined Ports of Call, in Denver and visited most of the world with adventure and enthusiasm. Watching the children of her sister, Connie and brother, Vincent, grow to adulthood gave her joy and pleasure.
