St Johns Cemetery

Crittenden County Arkansas

I have names for some there. Many have no headstones and some of the info. I got off of the name plates. You can tell alot have been buried there by the many areas that are sunk in, but no markers.

The names I have aren't very old. The oldest I have, died in 1933 but most are 1980 and up. I have about 33 names or dates.

These aren't in any certain order. The cemetery didn't have defined rows. Directions to the cemetery:   Take I-55 to the Marion exit. At the light, head East, this is Hwy. 64 (Military Rd.). Stay on this road until you go over a set of railroad tracks at the stop sign, precede on this road for a mile or more until you see the small cemetery on the right. Surrounded by cotton fields.

There were 13 name plates I could not read or info. was gone. A few of the name plates had fake flowers that spelled "Dad" on it.

There was a headstone with only the base, the actually headstone was gone.

A pile of crumbled rocks at another area.
