Arkansas Tombstone Project Submission Instructions | |
TEXT: | Contact the AR Tombstone Transcription Project Manager listed below to contribute photos and transcriptions. Text-only transcriptions are usually processed by the Project Manager but can also be submitted using the GenRecords auto-upload form. Please notify the Project Manager if you are planning on uploading using the forms or if you wish to have your files processed manually. |
PHOTOS | Tombstone photos can be submitted by using the GenRecords auto-upload submission form. Use of the AR GenRecords form will get your photos uploaded and linked faster. Please contact the Project Manager listed below before uploading photos and if you need assistance with the forms. Photo submissions can also be handled manually, please contact the Project Manager directly for instructions. |
NOTES: | Ideally tombstone photos should not exceed 100kb. Please reduce the size of the photo and save for the web before submission. If you need help with this process, please contact the Project Manager listed below or visit GenRecords resizing tutorial for instructions on how to work with photos. |
Let's work together in this endeavor! This Project is about remembering our dead and preserving our history!!! If you would like to transcribe data for this Project, or you have already done cemetery surveys and would like to share that work with the world, please let us hear from you. All Cemetery Surveys, Gravestone Inscriptions, Tombstone Photos and other files related to cemeteries are posted in the ARGenWeb Archives. It is not necessary to submit files to both the Tombstone Transcription Project and the AR Archives.
